Welcome to our school!
A very warm welcome to our new school website. We are extremely proud to share with you the wonderful learning and wider opportunities on offer at Kingsfield Primary School. Please take your time to have a look around the site, particularly our weekly newsletters which will keep you informed of what we do on a day-to-day basis.
We are a vibrant and diverse school that is highly inclusive and on a journey of improvement. The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, resilient, inquisitive and supported in a stimulating yet calm environment where all can thrive. The school is committed to maximising the life chances of every child in our care from an intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual perspective and we are dedicated to providing opportunities relevant to their needs both now and in the future.
There is no doubt that Kingsfield has had a challenging few years but, with renewed passion and commitment, we will make sure that school is an amazing place to learn and work. If you would like to be on this journey with us as a pupil, parent, governor, volunteer or new member of staff, please contact the school office for more information.
We love having visitors...but just right now we need to limit these in light of government restrictions.
With warmest regards,
Due to the unprecedented situation that the World finds itself in, school life is slightly different to before. We have completed a thorough risk assessment which has been approved by the Board of Trustees for the Active Learning Trust. In undertaking this exercise, we have had to consider a great number of options. We appreciate that our decisions will impact on the general feel of the school day but please understand it is for the safety of pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
We have set up a Frequently Asked Questions page so urge you to have a look at that. If there is a query that has not been answered, please let the office know so that we can update the page accordingly. Furthermore, all remote learning can be found on the children's class pages and on the archive page. Please do check out our learning wall, assemblies and story-time features which are also supporting and celebrating children's learning.
It is a very difficult time for many of us but as a school we want to reassure you that decisions have been made to minimise the risk of disease transmission whilst still offering a full, vibrant curriculum. We cannot thank you enough for your ongoing support of us during this difficult and unusual time.
