School to School Support

We believe that schools improve by sharing great ideas with each other.  Therefore, we have developed a programme of events so that our staff visit other schools as well as sharing their expertise with others.  We use Specialist Leaders in Education (SLEs) and their associated Teaching Schools to aid our development.

Mrs. Read is an experienced SENDCo who acts as a mentor for teachers new to the role.  Similarly, Mrs. Coates has acted as a school improvement advisor for several years.  We are looking to develop our staff so that more of them act as advisors within their subjects.

During the academic year of 2020 - 2021, we will be working with CPET and their Teaching School.  They will be running a number of training opportunities for our staff to ensure that there is the greatest level of Quality First Teaching available for the children of Kingsfield.  We will also be using the Active Learning Trust's superb CPD offer to ensure that all staff have career development opportunities.
