As part of the national curriculum, all Year 4 pupils will be taking part in the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) during the summer term. We’d like to invite you to a short meeting where we will explain what the check involves, how we’re preparing in class, and how you can support your child at home.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 21st May at 2:40pm in the school hall.
We will cover:
- What the Multiplication Tables Check is and why it takes place
- How we’re helping children prepare at school
- Useful tips and resources for practising at home
- Supporting your child to feel calm and confident
If you are unable to attend in person, we will also hold a Teams online session at 5:00pm on the same day. All key information will be shared with parents after the meeting as well.
