This week we will be celebrating the coming national Children’s Mental Health Week. The condition of children’s mental health is a very important issue to the school and, therefore, children across the school will be taking part in activities linked to promoting well-being and good mental health. The work will be taking place in assemblies and lessons throughout the week and this year’s theme is ‘Let’s Connect’, promoting positive community links and friendships with others.
On Thursday 2nd February, Miss. Mills has arranged for members of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to be available in school. The team will be running a ‘Stay and Play’ session where parents are able to work with their children on activities to enhance mental and emotional well-being. This event will take place from 8.45am until 9.30am. Children should register in their classroom and then will join you in the King Edward Hall for the event. If you would like to take part in this, please completed this form to register your interest.
