During British Science Week, Year Two conducted an exciting experiment about “Should We Flush It Away” to test how different materials performed when flushed. We explored hands on learning by testing various items to see how well they “flushed” through a model toilet system. The experiment demonstrated how certain materials didn’t dissolve and how easily they can block and damage sewage systems. By observing and analysing the results, we learned valuable lessons about what should and shouldn’t be flushed.
