On Tuesday evening we played host to this area’s heat for the Maths Challenge. Four children in Year 5 (Jacoby, Lily, Miriam and Dominic) pitted their wits against a number of other teams. There were different rounds but the favourite question was ‘estimate how many bristles are on this toothbrush’! Although we did not win, the children were amazing and worked brilliantly as a team. They were commended for how well they had done in a particular round.
